Culturally-aligned counselling and consultancy in perinatal mental health, parenting and baby loss

Compassionate support for families and the professionals who care for them

Hello, I’m Manisha.

I’m a counsellor specialising in perinatal mental health, baby loss, relationships and parenting identity. I also work with organisations to build more inclusive, culturally-aligned support for families through training and consultancy.

I know reaching out can feel daunting.

Whether you are here as a parent seeking counselling, or as a professional looking to strengthen how your organisation supports families, you’re in the right place to find out about how I work and the support I offer

Couples Counselling

Every relationship faces challenges, whether through loss, becoming parents, or simply finding your way back to each other after a difficult season.

Couples counselling offers a gentle space to talk openly, rebuild understanding, and explore what helps you both feel supported and connected again. You don’t need to come with all the answers can simply start with finding the courage to sit together and say, “We need a little support, together.”

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Grounded in care. Rooted in culture. Guided by compassion.

I’m Manisha, a counsellor and consultant specialising in perinatal mental health, baby loss, relationships and parenting.

Manisha Sheth — counsellor and consultant

My approach is shaped by both my professional training and my lived experiences. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, not something that you just attend and participate in. At the heart of my work is creating a relationship where you feel heard, respected and supported, so we can make sense of things together in a way that feels right for you.

WHO I WORK WITH

Finding support for what feels too heavy to carry alone

I often work with people who are finding life harder than they imagined during pregnancy, after baby loss, or while parenting. Some come to me feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed; others are grieving, adjusting to big changes, or feeling uncertain about who they are becoming.

You don’t need to have had therapy before, many of the people I meet are reaching out for the very first time; whilst others return as a previous client or someone looking for more specialised support.

Here are some of what my clients often bring to sessions:

Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to go through it alone.

Let's start with a call

Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you’re looking for support again, we can start by talking through what feels most important to you.
