Professional Services
Specialist training and consultancy for therapists and organisations working in perinatal mental health and baby loss.
Supporting those who support others
Developing reflective, culturally aware practice
Working with perinatal mental health and baby loss can be emotionally complex and deeply meaningful. Practitioners are often supporting families through experiences that sit outside traditional and primary training models, with limited space to reflect on culture, identity, power, and the wider systems shaping care.
Alongside my counselling work, I have over three years’ experience developing and delivering training through Support Me CIC and Aasha Training, including specialist baby loss training for Petals. Across my professional work, I create space for practitioners to reflect on how identities, assumptions, and systems of power shape therapeutic practice, particularly within perinatal mental health and baby loss.
My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for the realities of practice, offering learning spaces that feel thoughtful, supportive, and responsive rather than prescriptive.
Support for professionals and organisations working in perinatal mental health
How I support professional practice
Training
I offer specialist training for those who want to work in ways that are culturally aligned, compassionate, and emotionally attuned.
Training draws on counselling practice and therapeutic ways of being, including empathy and curiosity, with a focus on moving away from blame and judgement.
I aim to support practitioners to feel more confident holding complexity, uncertainty, and difference, while offering care that feels respectful, responsive, and grounded.
Consultancy
I offer consultancy for organisations seeking culturally aligned and ethically grounded input into perinatal mental health and baby loss work.
This may include contributing to training development, supporting service design, or offering specialist consultation around culturally safe practice, and addressing inequity.
Consultancy is shaped collaboratively and with sensitivity to the values, pressures, and realities of the organisation.
Speaking & Events
Over the past several years, I have regularly spoken at conferences, events, and professional spaces on topics including perinatal mental health, baby loss, race, culture, and health inequities in perinatal care.
Speaking engagements are shaped to the audience and context, with the aim of inviting reflection, challenging dominant narratives, and supporting more inclusive and culturally responsive practice.
I offer a range of formats, from short talks to longer interactive sessions.
